All our Instructors are First Aid Qualified, have enhanced DBS certification, Fully Insured and have completed relevant safeguarding training to teach Taekwon-Do.

Master Hollingsworth - 7th Degree

Master Lee Hollingsworth started Taekwon-Do in 1988 at the age of 4. A former personal student of Grandmaster Trevor Nicholls, he has won mulitple World and European medals during his competitive career. He then founded HTKD in 2009 opening his first ever school in Greenford. In 2019 Master H graded to 7th Degree Master under one of the original Pioneers of Taekwon-do -

Miss Umbreen Khan - 5th Degree

Miss Umbreen Khan (5th Degree ITF Black Belt) has been training in ITF taekwondo for 10 years and as a fully qualified instructor, has been teaching since 2014. As well as competing nationally, she has competed at the World Championships in 2014 and 2016. She has also competed at the European Championships and at various other international tournaments such as the Dutch Open and Challenger Cup held in Spain. Classes run by Miss Khan are suitable for adults and children (7+) and for students with all levels of experience.

Mr Spencer Powell - 4th Degree

Spencer Powell (4th Degree ITF Black Belt) has 19 years of experience within Martial Arts, and has been teaching for 11 years. He has competed at World Championships in 2012 in England, 2019 in Italy, and 2022 in Argentina. He has also competed at European Championships, and other International and National events.

Mr Darren White - 4th Degree

Darren White (4th Degree ITF Black Belt) has over 47 years of experience within Martial Arts, and has been teaching for over 35 years., and is well respected within the community. He has specifc background in teaching self defence programs such as Ladies' Zone and Street Self-Defence, leading seminars up and down the country, and inspiring the next generation of students. His lifelong commitment to discipline, respect, and continuous learning is evident in every aspect of his Martial Arts career.

Mr Josh Phillips - 4th Degree

Josh Phillips (4th Degree ITF Black Belt) has been training for 13 years, and is a fully qualified instructor. He has competed at the World Championships in 2022 in Argentina, European Championships in 2023 in Spain, and in 2024 in England, currently holding the European title. He has also competed at both International and International events, holding multiple titles at both levels.
